Hi Ladies,

 Happy Friday and Happy Holidays!Christmas is in full swing!! Personally, I can't resist J Beibs Christmas album..I say this without shame:)This is such a craaazzyy time of year for everyone this I know. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving spending time with fam and eating your little hearts out. I know we did!!! We have had so much fun stuff going on and we are loving every minute of it!! So to start out... we have had the pleasure of developing a relationship with one of the most talented and focused women in this industry! Most of you out there probably know her she owns multiple companies and does this with ease!! She has been irreplacable for me and Britt to getting where we are today. So who is this gem..Sara O' Shea!!!! She owns Behind Every Bride and So Chic Events both a MUST for brides!! Behind Every Bride an advertising company that publishes a magazine with any and every single bridal resource out there!!! Brides if you don't have a copy of this publication GET ONE!!! It will become your resource for everything Bridal!! Then, I can't say enough about So Chic Events, I have seen first hand what they can do and they will take and make your wedding simply fabulous!!! Beyond all of that Sara herself is simply kind and genuine, and has quickly become a good friend to us. One of those people you always look forward to being around!! We had the pleasure recently of getting Sara ready for her maternity pics, and I must say she looked pretty glam!! Thanks so much Sara!!So with all of that said we just had a great workshop event at Behind Every Bride Studio..which was a blast!! We had a great turn out of over twenty ladies!!! We spent the evening talking about everything makeup and how to get a great face everyday not for just your wedding day!! We truly have a passion for educating people with what we know about hair and makeup and the little tips and tricks that we have learned from trying it ourselves. A fun way to learn more is to get your friends together and have a party. You can pay per person and it's a fun way for you to make it a girl's night out!! We should have more info on our website coming soon as far as pricing etc....but each party is customizable to meet the needs of you and your friends!! Don't hesitate to email us and ask more!!  So this Friday our Favorite things are a little different...Our favorite thing this week is the amazing work done by Sara and her team for our best friends wedding shown in a couple of pics that we just love from Deidre Lynn Photography(and a few extra pics we just had to put in)!!! It's FRIDAY!!!!

Ok ladies its time for Friday's favorite things!!! Last week we missed because it was our best friends wedding and we were a bit busy! This week we are back and full force. This week we have two amazing products. But guess what.. the Cloud 9 commercial is up!!! Let me just say I probably watch it 3 times a day just because I love seeing it!! It is pretty amazing!!! This should come as no surprise since I could live at Cloud 9 its exactly what you would envision when you want to see your perfect wedding dress! The blue walls against all those ivory and white dresses with those crystal chandeliers glistening in the light..ahh!!! HEAVEN! Also the model in the commercial Jen is one of our future brides and she is the absolute sweetest girl ever!! AND GORGEOUS!!!I know I am gushing just a bit but I can't help myself. So we will definitely put up the link to it just in case you missed it! Kort's favs- Customizable foundation. Not only is this the foundation we use on our brides in our airbrush we also use it everyday!!! I personally looove to use it as a tinted moisturizer. I mix my Embryolisse moisturizer which we could also do a whole post on and my foundation for a perfect light tinted moisturizer for everyday!!! Friday's Favorite Things!!!

Friday's Favs come with some fun news!!! Yesterday B.Loved did the hair and makeup for a commercial for Cloud 9!!!  Not only that the bride in the commercial Jen is also our bride in real life!!! It was soo much fun getting to work with her and we can't wait for her July wedding!! BRIDES!!! You are going to die!! The dresses Jen wore with her hair and makeup looked absolutely flawless!!! Again..I'D DIE!!! Look for the commercial to air November 18th on TLC during Say Yes to the Dress!! I am going to post a few pics we took from Jen's phone and hopefully we will be able to eventually put the whole commercial on here:) Ok on to the Favs!!

Kortnie's Fav- Nars Blush in the shade Orgasm( I know a little risque). This blush  is my absolute favorite to use on almost anyone!!! It is the perfect mix of color and shimmer and gives just the right amount of glow! Seriously..you will be obsessed!! You can find this blush at Sephora for $27.

Britt's Fav- Bassu Hydrating Masque by Surface for your hair. This product is soo great for winter since everybody's hair gets so dry. There are many ways to use this product you can leave it on your hair in the shower for an extra 5 minutes. You can use it as a leave in, or for extra repair and conditioning leave on hair for an hour with a bag. This product is 100% organic and gluten free!! WHAT?!! It's November 1st?!!!

Well Ladies it is November first already!!! It feels like the moment Halloween is over all bets are off for the start of holiday parties and events! Don't get me wrong I love love love the holiday season but it can be a bit crazy at times!!! Well I must tell you that B.Loved has some very exciting things coming up!!!! So much stuff I don't know where to begin...First we will be offering B.Loved gift cards! These are perfect for  any occasion! Next we are also going to start offering some essential makeup kits...for an everyday flawless face. (There are pics to come of these packages) Finally!! The most exciting we will begin teaching classes on things from everyday makeup to bridal makeup to your most glammed up look!!! So get your friends together and we will make a party out of it!!! Oh and don't forget we have specials for groups of 4 or more to get you ready for any holiday event or special occasion!!!!  So to get this holiday season started off right I thought I would post at least a couple holiday musts for hair and makeup!!

My first holiday must try a beautiful red lip!!!! Its not something you want to do everyday but for a fun change glam up your lips with a bright vivid red!!! My suggestion just go to your local drug store and pick out a hot red shade and try it... nothing expensive just something you can use a couple times!! Before applying make sure you lips are well conditioned and then after throw on a gloss and you will look outrageous!!!

Second a sleek pulled back chignon!! Apply some texturizing spray at the root and then slick back to a high pony tail. Then twist around the pony and add a couple bobbies! This look is perfect for just a day out or for any event. Glam it up or dress it down..it's so CHIC!!

Friday's Favs...and a little somethin else.

I will start off this post with our favs then we will get to the really good stuff!! I do loooove Friday's favorites just because it gives everyone some great new products to try out.




Kortnie's fav- BEAUTY BLENDERS!!! I am ADDICTED!!! If I have ever done your makeup I have most definately used one of these little guys!! They are amazing! They look like eggs and they have a soft seude texture. These blenders are the most reliable tool...We use these to blend everything from eyeshadow to blush to foundation. Britt's Fav- Smashbox Jet Set Waterproof Eyeliner: We love this product because it is a gel based liner that stays blendable for 60 seconds after you put it on then is budge-proof for the rest of the day! Depending on the size of the brush you are using, you can make a very thin line or give a bold look by making a thicker line across your eyelid. For a new look try "winging" the liner a bit beyond the edge of the eye. It gives in instant glam look!  Next I am soo excited to tell you guys about the photshoot we did with Cloud 9 Bridal and Megan Renae Photography. We had so much fun working with all of these girls!! We went into the shoot with a vintage chic theme in mind and it was gorgeous!! From the girls to the setting and the dresses...Oh the dresses!!! Brides let me say this.. There is no need to even venture out of Peoria any more for a wedding dress!! Cloud 9 has the most amazingly beautiful dresses you will die. I'd DIE!!  Rachel the owner is also the sweetest person to work with you will loove her! Also our photographer Megan of Megan Renae Photography did such a beautiful job carrying out the vision for this whole shoot. She is beyond talented and has an eye for what she does! Friday's Favorite Things!!!

We are starting a new tradition...Now on Friday's we are going to give you two favorite things. Some of these things we use regularly when working and some of the things we just love for every day:) So lets get started!!!

Kortnie's favorite thing- I chose this as my favorite thing because its something I work with and something I personally cannot live without. The product is Urban Decay Eyeshadow and the color is called Sin. It is a pigment rich eyeshadow and it goes on flawlessly and its always my go to shadow. I personally use it everyday on myself because it gives your eyes a sparkle and glow. You can find this eyeshadow at Sephora and it retails for $17.

Brittany's favorite thing- Nuturing Force Blot Out Offensive Shine and Oil Control Cream. This cream is a Bloved staple. We use it on all of our brides. All Things B.Loved

Oh.. where to start?? So much is happening with B.Loved right now its hard to know where to begin. We have been very busy this fall to say the least. We have been booked every weekend with multiple weddings, we did our first bridal show and we just did another photo shoot last weekend with Deidre Lynn  Photography. I must say this Deidre is one of our dearest friends and has been more than kind to us from the moment we started B.Loved. She does all of our shoots with us and they are always beyond words. Just to share a story about Deidre from years past in 6th grade we were all assigned to make an Egyptian project most kids brought in the typical pyramid...not Deidre she had made a mask of King Tut...and let me tell you it was no ordinary mask it was brilliant. Even then as a 6th grade little girl she was insanely talented!!! We tell you that just to say some people are just born to do what they do and Deidre is one of those people her art and creativity shine through her work and we couldn't be more impressed by her. Thanks Deidre. Hopefully as we get more organized over here we will be able to add some of the beautiful brides we have had the privilege to work with.
